Teaching English Literature

English literature from children’s books to young adult fiction, from the classics to contemporary authors is an immensely rewarding contribution to the EFL classroom. This SIG provides a forum of exchange on any topic connected to the teaching of such texts and their adaptations in other media, from primary to tertiary level.

AUS- UND WEITERBILDUNG VON FREMDSPRACHENLEHR-PERSONEN / FORMATION DES ENSEIGNANT-E-S DE LANGUES ÉTRANGÈRES / FORMAZIONE DEGLI INSEGNANTI DI LINGUE STRANIERE

Diese SIG befasst sich sowohl sprach- wie auch stufenübergreifend mit der Aus- und Weiterbildung der Lehrpersonen. Durch den Austausch und das Zusammenbringen von ganz unterschiedlichem Know-how aus allen Landesteilen der Schweiz sucht sie Wege und Optimierungsmöglichkeiten, um die Lehrpersonen noch besser auf ihre anspruchsvolle Aufgabe im Fremdsprachenunterricht vorzubereiten resp. zu begleiten.

Sie wird gleichzeitig eine Arbeitsgruppe der SGL (Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Lehrerinnen- und Lehrerbildung) sein, eine individuelle Mitgliedschaft bei der SGL ist aber nicht zwingend.

Ce groupe d’intérêt (SIG) entend s’occuper de la formation initiale et continue des enseignant-e-s, toute langue et tout secteur scolaire confondus. A travers l’échange et la mise en commun de différents savoir-faire issus de toutes les régions suisses, le groupe cherche à dégager des manières et des opportunités pour améliorer la formation et l’accompagnement des enseignant-e-s qui assument la tâche ambitieuse et exigeante de l’enseignement des langues. Notre SIG constituera également un groupe de travail de la SSFI (Société suisse pour la formation des enseignantes et des enseignants), sans pour autant que chaque membre du SIG doive adhérer individuellement à la SSFI.

Questo gruppo di interesse (SIG) intende occuparsi della formazione iniziale e continua degli insegnanti, a prescindere dalle lingue che insegnano e dall’ordine scolastico a cui appartengono. Tramite le scambio e la condivisione di numerose e varie competenze provenienti da tutte le regioni svizzere, il gruppo cercherà di far emergere modi e opportunità per migliorare la formazione e l’accompagnamento degli insegnanti che assumono il compito ambizioso ed esigente dell’insegnamento delle lingue. Il nostro SIG sarà allo stesso tempo un gruppo di lavoro della SSFI (Società svizzera per la formazione degli insegnanti), senza per questo che ogni membro del SIG sia sottoposto all’obbligo di aderire alla SSFI
